Referrals
No referral is needed to attend Northern Midlands Physiotherapy.
If you have seen your doctor and have a written referral, or if you already have any x-rays or other scan results, please bring these along to your first appointment.

Northern Midlands Physiotherapy operates out of the Longford Medical Centre
Monday 8:00am - 5:30pm
Wednesday 8:00am - 5:30pm
Friday 8:00am - 5:30pm
Payment
Payment is required on the day of your appointment.
For your convenience, we provide on-the-spot health fund claims through the HICAPS system. If you are in a private health fund please bring your card along with you.
If you are covered by a third-party insurer (e.g DVA, Workcover, MAIB etc) please advise us at time of booking. Medicare funded referrals (EPC) will incur a gap payment.
Practitioner: Adam Torlach
Adam is a passionate, dedicated and experienced physiotherapist who calls the Northern Midlands home. Adam graduated from the University of Queensland with a Master of Physiotherapy Studies in 2017 after previously completing a Bachelor of Exercise Science at the University of Tasmania in 2015.
Adam has a special interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and believes in delivering holistic treatment which is specific and individualised for each client. He is a certified GLA:D® Australia Physiotherapist for the treatment of hip and knee osteoarthritis and has completed extensive training in the treatment of Parkinson's disease. He has also enjoyed the privilege of being a clinical educator for numerous Physiotherapy students.
Outside of work Adam can be found chasing after his four boys, perfecting his lawn and enjoying Tasmania's treats with friends and family.
